With compliance and regulation increasingly gaining presence within organisations, many areas including financial processes are coming under close scrutiny. The automation of processes helps ensure greater document and information control.

With most of today's information still held on paper, and with paper increasing in volumes within the organisation, compliance is made even more arduous. The implementation of a solution to the various compliance issues requires the digitisation of information from paper-based documents. This digitisation process can be British Standards compliant and allows for electronic images to be legally admissible, often removing the need to keep paper copies. The objective is for this information to be handled and tasked in the same way as incoming electronic information, becoming seamlessly integrated into everyday business processes.

Many organisations are still unaware of the important role this technology will play in helping meet the demands of compliance.
